2027: ‘All Eyes Are On Delta’ – Okowa Urges APC Members To Secure Votes For Tinubu

Former Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, has declared that members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state must ensure overwhelming support for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

According to Gossip News Now , Okowa made this statement on Monday during a gathering of leaders and stakeholders from the Ika federal constituency, held in Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area.

The meeting was organized to update party members on the ongoing nationwide APC electronic membership registration exercise. APC’s national publicity secretary, Felix Morka, was also present at the event.

Addressing attendees, Okowa noted that the high turnout and strong representation of party leaders should eliminate any lingering concerns about the party’s strength in the constituency.

He reiterated that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori was the first to publicly align with the APC at the state level, adding that Delta’s performance in the coming polls must send a strong message across Nigeria.

Okowa also warned against internal disagreements, stressing that party disunity weakens collective efforts and reduces the chances of electoral victory.

He said, “If we make a firm and immediate decision to stay united, we can achieve total political control across all 26 wards in the Ika federal constituency. Delta remains a benchmark.

“Our governor boldly aligned himself with the President, and this has placed national attention on us.

“The outcome from Delta in 2027 must echo loudly across the country.”
