Kaka Igbokwe, former manager of music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has confirmed that the viral video showing the singer’s arrest in London following an altercation with his pregnant wife, Natasha Osawaru, is authentic.

The confirmation contradicts 2Baba’s earlier denial of the incident, which reportedly took place in October 2025.

Speaking on Daddy Freeze’s Instagram Live on Monday evening, Igbokwe—who was part of the London tour team and traveled on the same flight as the couple—stated, “Everything you saw in the couple’s face-off was true.”

Igbokwe recounted that the argument erupted at London’s Gatwick Airport after Natasha, who is also an Edo State House of Assembly lawmaker, became upset when she felt 2Baba had abandoned her. The singer had reportedly walked off with fans who led him into a nearby shop.

“When he realized Natasha was left behind, he hurried back to her,” Igbokwe explained. “But she lashed out, which led to the involvement of the police, who arrested and handcuffed him.”

The controversy first emerged when 2Baba missed a scheduled concert on October 2, 2025. At the time, he denied being arrested, citing a “medical emergency” for his absence.

The issue resurfaced after blogger Tosin Silverdam shared a video on Instagram and X on December 1, 2025, claiming it showed 2Baba being detained at the airport. Silverdam’s post read: “Video of Tuface Idibia Being Arrested by the Police in the UK After an Alleged Altercation with His Wife Natasha… The Video Is Finally Out.”

Screenshots from the video appear to show police officers speaking with 2Baba outside a store before escorting him out. A separate clip shared by Silverdam suggested that Natasha was upset over 2Baba receiving attention from fans during the incident.
