Fresh tensions have erupted within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, openly criticised the party’s leadership style, warning that internal decisions could push the opposition into irrelevance.
Speaking during a media interaction in Abuja, the former Rivers State governor expressed concern over what he described as a growing culture of exclusion within the party. He argued that some current governors are dominating key decisions while sidelining influential stakeholders who once played major roles in sustaining the party.
