Nigerian music superstar Wizkid is beaming with pride as his first son, Boluwatife Balogun, professionally known as Champz, makes waves in the music industry.

Gossip News Now reports that the 14-year-old singer released his debut five-track EP, Champion’s Arrival, marking his official entry into music.

The project quickly soared to the top of Apple Music Nigeria less than five hours after its release, making Champz the youngest African artist to achieve such a feat.

His EP also charted in 16 countries worldwide and reached number 71 on the UK Apple Music Top Albums chart.

Champion’s Arrival features no guest appearances, highlighting Champz’s own voice and creativity throughout the project.

In the track Superstar, the young singer reflects on early heartbreaks and shares his dreams for the future, including his hopes of showing love to his own children one day.

Although some critics have labeled him a “nepo baby,” Champz emphasized that all the lyrics are entirely his own creation.

The budding artist announced the release on social media, confirming that the EP is available across all streaming platforms.

Wizkid expressed his excitement over his son’s achievement, stating, “We love it man, he’s my kid you know!”

Boluwatife is Wizkid’s first son with Shola Ogudu.

Even before entering music, he had launched his own children’s fashion brand, Czar & Czarina, at the age of seven, demonstrating his entrepreneurial flair early on.
