Nollywood actress Bamike Adenibuyan, popularly known as Bambam, has disclosed that she steers clear of spiritually intense or diabolical roles when she feels mentally or spiritually unprepared.

Gossip News Now reports that she shared this insight during an interview with Saturday Beats.

The mother of two explained that her personal sensitivity as an actor largely influences the types of scripts she chooses.

She added that acting requires complete focus and emotional resilience, and she avoids roles that might negatively affect her mind or spirit if she isn’t ready.

“I am a very sensitive actor. I try to stay away from deeply spiritual films, especially when I’m not certain or spiritually prepared for them,” she said.

Discussing her portrayal of Chioma in Love in Every Word, Bambam revealed that she first sought to understand the character’s inner world before adding her personal touch to bring the role to life.

She explained: “When you receive a script, you step into the shoes of that character. I studied Chioma’s personality and incorporated aspects of myself to make her real. Acting is about understanding the mindset of your character so you can respond authentically.”

Since her time on the reality show, Bambam has appeared in productions such as Inspector K, Backup Wife, and Foreigner’s God, sharing the screen with her husband, Teddy A.
