Public Advised Against Recognising Listed Politicians as PDP Representatives
Fresh controversy has emerged within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after a faction led by Kabiru Tanimu Turaki publicly announced that several high-profile political figures have been expelled from the party.

According to the faction, these individuals were removed from the party following decisions reached during the 2025 elective convention held in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The faction further maintained that any political actions, public representations or official engagements carried out by the affected individuals should not be interpreted as activities authorized by the PDP.

The statement claimed that certain members had previously been sanctioned by the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) over allegations relating to anti-party activities and misconduct.
