Nigerian music executive Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has issued a stern warning to a social media user impersonating him on 𝕏.
Gossip News Now reports that the fake account recently posted a message promoting a supposed giveaway using Don Jazzy’s name and image, misleading many unsuspecting followers.
Addressing the impersonator from his verified account, Don Jazzy told them to immediately stop using his identity. He emphasized that any giveaways should be conducted using their own name and photo, and cautioned that legal action could follow if the impersonation continues.
“Good evening sir/ma. Don’t you see how using my name and image on this account looks dodgy? You can do your giveaways with your own name and pic if you really want to help people. Don’t say they are bullying you if you get arrested o. I come in peace,” he wrote.
In other news, Don Jazzy has opened up about why reconciliation with his ex-wife Michelle Jackson is not possible.
He revealed that their marriage, which he first announced in April 2021, ended due to a lack of mutual commitment. Don Jazzy attributed the breakdown to his intense focus on his music career, noting that the couple divorced two years after tying the knot.
