Nollywood actress and singer Angela Okorie has shared her reaction to Italy’s recent restrictions on LGBTQ+ parenting.

Gossip News Now reports that the Italian government recently introduced measures preventing gay and lesbian couples from raising children, barring non-biological parents from being listed on birth certificates, and criminalizing surrogacy abroad.

On her Instagram story, Angela expressed support for the policy, describing same-sex parenting as unacceptable and questioning the ability of such couples to raise children.

The mother of one tied her opinion to her faith, calling for what she described as a spiritual cleansing against practices she considers wrong. She wrote:
“Same-sex couples are not okay. They are not mentally stable to train kids. We declare divine sanitation all around the world in Jesus name amen. All those nonsense must stop.”

In a separate story, Nigerian skitmaker Adesokan Adedeji Emmanuel, popularly known as Shank Comics, addressed backlash over an old social media post praising American rapper Diddy’s “mindset.”

Gossip News Now reports that Shank’s post highlighted his admiration for Diddy’s “perspective to the grind” and adaptability, noting that the music mogul “got lost in the pursuit of power.”

Following the resurfaced post and online criticism, Shank clarified via his 𝕏 handle that he was not endorsing Diddy. He described the post as a “misguided attempt” at referencing a movie villain.
