Afrobeats superstar Wizkid has expressed his desire for singer Asake to perform at his wedding.

Gossip News Now reports that Wizkid made the revelation during a recent appearance on Apple Music radio with DJ Tunez. He praised Asake’s music, highlighting the track Remember as his personal favourite.

Wizkid described Asake as one of the most talented voices in Africa, commending his contribution to the continent’s music scene. He also shared that Asake’s songs have been a personal favourite for a long time and expressed his hope that one would feature at his wedding.

He said:
“‘Omo Ope’ made me an Asake fan from the first listen. But my favourite Asake song is ‘Remember’—you have to play that one at my wedding. It’s an amazing record. You are amazing, you have one of the most special voices from Africa and the world. I’ve told you that a million times, and I’m saying it again on the radio. You are a blessing to African music.”

The Grammy-winning artist is currently in a relationship with his third baby mama and manager, Japa P. The couple share three children—two boys and a girl.
