Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has called on Nigerians to shift their focus from his personal life to more pressing national concerns.

Gossip News Now reports that the message was delivered on December 12, 2025, during a live performance where the singer entertained his fans.

Speaking to the audience, 2Baba noted that discussions about his marriage to Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru had dragged on for too long. He stressed that there are far more significant issues in the country that deserve public attention.

“I’ve entertained you all enough. Make una ignore all that nonsense. Some serious things are happening in Nigeria. Let’s focus on more important matters,” he said.

2Baba explained that while he has spent years entertaining Nigerians through his music, dwelling on gossip and personal drama does not contribute to national progress.

In a related development, 2Baba and his wife, Natasha Idibia, are reportedly involved in a legal dispute with their landlord over unpaid rent. The property in question is a 5-bedroom semi-detached duplex with a boys’ quarters (BQ) located at No. 27 Edwin Clerk Crescent, Guzape, Abuja.

This comes after earlier claims by Natasha that the house was a gift from her grandfather, which led many to assume the couple owned the property. Recent information and court documents indicate that the Idibias are renting the home, and the landlord is dissatisfied with the current situation.
