Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has reportedly been arrested following a heated online controversy connected to her recent allegations against Lagos-based pastor, Chris Okafor.

Gossip News Now reports that the arrest took place on Saturday, December 20, 2025, during a live video session in which the actress was speaking with an online personality.

While the livestream was still ongoing, Ogala disclosed that police officers were inside her residence. She was also heard reprimanding a woman identified as Charity for allowing people into the house despite earlier instructions.

During the session, the interviewer advised Ogala to keep her phone recording and asked whether the officers had presented an arrest warrant.

Moments later, comedian and former Big Brother Naija housemate, Dee One, announced on Instagram that the actress had been arrested. He said he had previously warned her and added that she would now have to answer questions in court over the matter.

The development followed a social media post by Ogala in which she shared an image allegedly showing the pastor in a private setting. In the post, she accused him of deception and claimed she possessed video evidence to support her allegations.

The controversy intensified after the pastor reportedly married a woman identified as Pearl earlier in the week. The wedding went ahead despite Ogala’s claims, which included allegations of betrayal, emotional manipulation, and a broken promise of marriage after what she described as a long-term relationship.

In the days leading up to the arrest, Ogala had posted emotional videos online accusing the cleric of ruining her life. She claimed the relationship began around 2017 and alleged that she ended her previous marriage at his request, only to be left devastated after the relationship abruptly ended.
