Nigerian TikTok creator Amadou Elizabeth, popularly known as Jarvis, has opened up about her mother’s ongoing health challenges, emphasizing that the illness is something money cannot fix.

In a candid Instagram video shared on Wednesday, Jarvis expressed concern over how social media users might react if they saw her mother’s condition. She explained her fear that someone could secretly record her ailing mother and use it to criticize or ridicule her online. “The internet can be harsh,” she admitted, highlighting the potential for judgment from strangers.

She also addressed the misconception that her online success and earnings could easily solve her family’s problems, clarifying that her mother’s condition is beyond the reach of money. Jarvis emphasized that she has entrusted the situation to God.

Reflecting on her mother’s role in their family, Jarvis praised her resilience and dedication. Despite raising the family without support from their Senegalese father, her mother provided protection and care, ensuring the family’s wellbeing.

Jarvis also shared her personal journey of reconnecting with her estranged father, whom she last saw in early childhood. She recalled that he used to call her Aminata, but contact eventually ceased. She revealed that she has traveled to Senegal in an effort to locate him and hopes to rebuild that connection.
