‘I’m No Longer Available For Projects That Disrespect My Time Or Drain My Values’

Nollywood actress and content creator Kemi Ikuseedun, popularly known as Mummy Wa, has announced that she will no longer take on projects that undermine her time or compromise her personal values.

Speaking with Punch, Mummy Wa explained that safeguarding her peace and principles has become a central priority in her career this year.

“I am no longer available for projects that will disrespect my time, drain my values, or reduce my work to ‘just content’,” she said.
“That phrase, ‘just content,’ is something I can no longer accept. I am focusing on working on myself in new ways. My peace is essential, and anything that disrespects my time or values is off-limits.”

Gossip News Now reports that the actress also reflected on evolving beyond her widely recognized Mummy Wa persona. While the character still has room to develop, she is consciously creating space to grow her personal identity and expand her creative range.

“There is still a lot more to explore with Mummy Wa. This year, I want to observe and experience life through the character,” she said.
“At the same time, I am allowing Kemi Ikuseedun to bloom, to grow, and to reveal other facets of myself in filmmaking and storytelling.”
