Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has caused anxiety among fans after posting an emotional message on social media.
As reported by Gossip News Now , the artist shared a heartfelt plea on his Instagram story, begging God to spare his life.
He also prayed that his wife and children would never be left to face hardship.
In his words, he wrote: “God save me don’t let me die young because of my wife and my kids. God don’t let them suffer.”
Portable’s outcry follows his arrest by police officers after his baby mama, Ashabi Simple, lodged a formal complaint against him.
This arrest comes after several weeks of public tension between the two, with both making various accusations against each other online.
A recent video circulating on social media captured the chaotic moment as police officers attempted to arrest the singer.
In the footage, Portable is seen resisting and shouting while those around him tried to pacify the situation.
It is worth recalling that just last week, Portable narrowly avoided arrest following a confrontation with Ashabi Simple, who is the mother of one of his children.
The clash reportedly occurred on Thursday, January 1, 2026, during her visit to his bar in Ogun State.
Another video shared online showed the heated exchange between them.
Ashabi, often referred to publicly as one of Portable’s baby mamas, expressed frustration with the label and insisted she should be recognized as a wife instead.
