Davido’s alleged babymama, Ayo Labinjoh, has reacted strongly to comments made by the singer’s father, Adedeji Adeleke, concerning the paternity of her daughter, Anu.
Recall that Adeleke had publicly dismissed claims that Davido is Anu’s biological father, stating that several DNA tests had proven otherwise. Naija News reports that the billionaire businessman made this assertion during a press briefing held in Lagos on Wednesday, where he revealed that five separate DNA tests were conducted, all of which reportedly returned negative results.
Responding through her daughter’s Instagram page, Labinjoh said she would not be intimidated, accusing Adeleke of using his influence and wealth to silence her. She expressed shock upon learning that her sister, Titi Labinjoh, had allegedly been in contact with Deji Adeleke, claiming that her sister had been receiving money from individuals she described as her oppressors.
Labinjoh criticised Adeleke for speaking on behalf of his son, insisting that Davido should personally address the matter. She urged the Nigerian police to hold Deji Adeleke accountable should any harm come to her or her daughter.
She further alleged that she was poisoned while studying at Adeleke’s university, an incident she claimed forced her to abandon her education. According to her, medical officials confirmed the poisoning, prompting her to leave the school out of fear for her safety.
In a lengthy statement, Labinjoh accused her sister of betrayal, alleging that financial transactions were made behind her back and that she was kept in the dark about funds supposedly sent for Anu’s welfare. She also denied claims of additional DNA tests, stating that neither she nor her daughter had met the Adeleke family for further testing.
She maintained that her demands were simple — transparency, justice, and an official DNA test conducted by the State Department.
Labinjoh concluded by reiterating her call for accountability, stressing that any threat to her life, her daughter, or her mother should be traced back to Deji Adeleke.
