Popular American streamer and YouTuber, IShowSpeed, has shed light on why he is not engaging in collaborations with content creators during his ongoing African tour.

Speaking during one of his live sessions, the internet personality explained that the primary objective of the tour is to highlight African culture, daily life, and untapped talents, rather than focus on influencer partnerships.

According to him, the tour is carefully structured to showcase authentic street experiences, cultural performances, and everyday people who rarely gain visibility on international platforms.

Speed revealed that every stop on the tour is meticulously scheduled by his team, with a tightly packed itinerary that leaves little or no room for spontaneous changes.

He added that specific locations and cultural activities are already mapped out in advance for each country, making it difficult to adjust plans to accommodate influencer collaborations.

The streamer further noted that most content creators seeking to work with him already have established platforms and exposure, while the essence of the tour is to amplify voices and talents that often go unnoticed.

He stressed that he would not sacrifice planned cultural engagements or locally arranged activities simply to create space for influencers, maintaining that the tour’s mission is to authentically represent African culture to a global audience.

Meanwhile, the tour also witnessed moments of tension between IShowSpeed and Nigerian influencer Peller, who made repeated attempts to gain the streamer’s attention.

Reports indicate that Peller approached him publicly and even pursued his moving convoy on horseback. However, security personnel prevented direct contact, and no on-camera interaction occurred.
