Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has reportedly been taken into custody by operatives of the Nigeria Police Force Cybercrime Centre over an alleged cybercrime matter connected to fellow actress Mercy Johnson.
The development was made public by popular filmmaker Seun Oloketuyi, who shared the information via his official Instagram page.
Sources revealed that the actress was arrested at her Lagos residence before being transported to Yaba Panti, where she reportedly spent the night due to the unavailability of a late flight to Abuja.
It was further gathered that Angela was subsequently placed on an early morning flight to the Federal Capital Territory, where she is expected to appear in court to answer questions relating to the case involving Mercy Johnson.
This latest incident follows years of public friction between the two actresses.
