Nollywood actress Blessing Nze has opened up about her experiences with online trolling, her marriage, and working alongside her husband in the film industry.
In an interview with media personality Ifedayo Agoro, Blessing revealed that she was once mocked online for her teeth and laughter.
According to reports, the mother of one said the trolling occurred during her first wedding anniversary photo shoots, when critics commented on her constant laughter and described her dentition as “bad.”
Blessing, who is married to fellow actor Stan Nze, explained that the experience motivated her to improve her smile, and she now feels confident about it.
“Sometimes people say, ‘You’re enjoying o. You don’t need to pay your husband,’” she said. “That’s not true. My husband gets paid like every other professional on set. From the very beginning, we understood that it’s always been me and him, against the world. I can spend on him when necessary.”
The actress also credited online criticism for helping her achieve the confident smile she has today.
“They showed me during my first anniversary. They said I should stop laughing, that my dentition is bad. Sebi, now my teeth are fine. It’s trolling that gave me this fine dentition now,” she added.
Blessing emphasized that her marriage is built on mutual support and teamwork, highlighting that working together in the film industry does not change the professional or financial boundaries they maintain on set.
