Popular Nigerian content creator and livestreamer Peller has pledged to reward Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman with ₦500,000 for every goal he scores in Nigeria’s AFCON clash with Morocco.
Gossip News Now reports that Peller made the announcement during a livestream on Tuesday, explaining that financial incentives could encourage players to perform at their best.
He said, “I will reward Ademola Lookman with ₦500,000 for every goal he scores against Morocco. This is my way of supporting the Super Eagles and motivating them ahead of the match. I mean it. To ginger them more, you’ve got to be giving them more money.”
Nigeria is set to face Morocco in the AFCON semi-final today, January 14, 2026, at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
The Super Eagles secured their semi-final spot with a 2-0 victory over Algeria, while Morocco also advanced after defeating Cameroon 2-0, setting up what promises to be a challenging encounter between the two sides.
Earlier, billionaire industrialist Abdul Samad Rabiu announced a substantial cash reward for the Super Eagles following their impressive quarter-final win against Algeria. The incentive package, running into millions of dollars, aims to motivate the team as they pursue continental glory.
