Nigerian influencer and media personality Priscilla Ojo has opened up about her marriage to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, addressing public discussions about their age difference. She made it clear that the age gap does not affect their relationship.

Speaking with Pulse Nigeria, Priscilla explained that frequent questions about their ages prompted her to clarify her perspective. She revealed that she is 24 years old, while her husband is 35, but emphasised that numbers do not determine the strength of their bond.

According to her, the most important element of their marriage is emotional connection and mutual understanding. When they first met, she said, she wasn’t even aware of Juma Jux’s age. His youthful appearance, sense of style, and overall energy made age irrelevant.

As their relationship developed, Priscilla focused on the depth of their connection rather than the numerical difference. She highlighted that neither she nor her husband behaves strictly according to their ages, which makes their life together more fun and relaxed.

“I feel age is just a number, as long as it’s not something extreme. For me, it starts from the heart,” she explained. “When I met him, I didn’t even know how old he was. He looked really young, dressed well, and carried himself in a youthful way. As we got to know each other, I didn’t see age like that at all.”

Priscilla described herself as more mature than people might expect for her age, while Juma Jux, despite being older, is playful, easygoing, and full of energy. She added that the couple enjoys spending time together, making TikTok content, and interacting like best friends.

“The funny thing is, we don’t even act our ages. People say I’m very mature for 24, and he definitely doesn’t act like a 35-year-old. You see us making TikTok videos, having fun, and just being ourselves,” Priscilla said.

She concluded by asserting that social media chatter about their age gap doesn’t bother her. For Priscilla, the emotional bond and shared joy in their relationship far outweigh public opinions.

“So honestly, I don’t see the age difference as a problem the way some people do,” she added.
