Aunty Ajara Hospitalised in Critical Condition as Mama No Network Raises Alarm Over Pregnancy

Nollywood actress Mama No Network has made an urgent public appeal for help on behalf of her colleague, Aunty Ajara, who is reportedly pregnant and currently battling a critical health condition.

The appeal was made on Friday, January 31, 2026, through an emotional video shared on Instagram, where Mama No Network disclosed that Ajara’s condition has deteriorated significantly and requires immediate intervention.

She stressed that the situation is not meant to attract online engagement but is a genuine emergency that calls for swift action and collective support.

According to her, Ajara urgently needs prayers and financial assistance to cope with the serious medical challenges she is facing.

Mama No Network explained that she rarely comes forward to solicit help publicly but felt compelled to speak out because of her close relationship with Ajara and deep concern for her wellbeing.

She described Ajara as a humble, respectful, and kind individual who is always grateful for any form of assistance she receives.

She further revealed that Ajara spends most of her earnings caring for her mother, who is currently battling the effects of a stroke.

Dispelling assumptions about negligence, Mama No Network clarified that Ajara is neither lazy nor unemployed, but her worsening health condition has greatly limited her ability to work.

She also disclosed that Ajara is pregnant, noting that the pregnancy was only discovered after her health took a serious turn.

According to her, she had advised Ajara in December to seek proper medical attention rather than continue self-treatment at home. It was during the hospital visit that doctors confirmed the pregnancy.

Further medical examinations later revealed that Ajara is suffering from a liver-related illness, which was initially mistaken for complications linked to the pregnancy.

Despite her fragile health, Ajara was reportedly moving from one place to another, a situation that may have further worsened her condition.

Mama No Network appealed to Nigerians not to dismiss the matter, stating that any medication or treatment prescribed by doctors to ease Ajara’s pain would be welcomed.

She called on the public to unite and support Ajara during what she described as a very difficult and critical moment.

In her words, she said:

“Good day, everyone. I hope you are all well. I am appealing to the public concerning Ajara. Many times, we ask why we post more ‘RIP’ messages than we support people while they are still alive. For God’s sake, I am sincerely begging you all—Ajara is in a very critical condition.

“Some people think this is content, but it is not. This is real life. Time is not on Ajara’s side, and we urgently need your help, both financially and through prayers. You all know that I, Mama No Network, hardly do things like this, but Ajara is someone I truly love. She is calm, accommodating, and very respectful.

“One of the reasons I am speaking out is that no matter how little or much you give Ajara, she is never ungrateful. She always says she is going home to give it to her mother, who is a stroke patient. She uses everything she earns to care for her mother. It’s not that Ajara does not work—her health situation is the challenge.

“I am also appealing because Ajara is pregnant. We did not discover the pregnancy early until her condition became worse. In December, I advised her to go to the hospital instead of treating herself at home. That was when the pregnancy was discovered. Sadly, doctors have now confirmed it is a liver disease, which we initially thought was related to the pregnancy.

“Despite her condition, Ajara has been moving around. Please, this is not content, and we cannot fold our arms. We are also open to any medication doctors recommend to help reduce her pain.

“We sincerely beg you, our people, to come to her aid. Thank you.”
