Nigerian Grammy-winning singer Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has raised concerns about his health after media personality Adesope Shopsydoo shared a video of him receiving medical treatment.

In the short clip posted on Instagram, Burna Boy was seen lying down on a bed. Shopsydoo captioned the post:
“Burna Boy down with illness behind the scenes, it is not easy at all. Touring is hard. Speedy recovery to Burna.”

Meanwhile, Nigerian comedian I Go Save has criticized those mocking the singer following the cancellation of some of his shows.

A few weeks ago, Burna Boy paused a performance to ask a female fan to leave after noticing her sleeping during the show, which led to calls for boycotts by some Nigerians in the U.S. Subsequently, his shows in Chicago and Minneapolis were cancelled due to poor ticket sales.

During a recent performance in Dallas, Burna Boy addressed the incident, apologizing to fans and asking for understanding. He said:
“I know my ticket sales are suffering since that incident. Even the coffee I introduced, no one is buying. So please, I am sorry to everyone and for everything I said. It was a slip of tongue.”

I Go Save reacted on Instagram Stories, condemning those celebrating the cancellations and likening their actions to “witchcraft,” stressing that God’s blessings are not hindered by human negativity.
