Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Policy Communication, has stated that he knows the exact location where the mentally unstable man—whom Peter Obi once claimed advised him during his time as governor—used to stay.

Bwala made the remark while reacting to Obi’s claim that he had never visited Anambra State. According to him, not only has he been to the state multiple times, but he can also describe the route leading directly to Obi’s residence.

During an appearance on The Clarity Zone Podcast hosted by Chinedu Emmanuel, popularly known as Nedu, Bwala dismissed Obi’s statements as dramatic and exaggerated.

He said, “Peter Obi said I have never been to Anambra. That’s not true. I can tell you the exact road to his house. Obi is from Agulu.”

He went further to list key areas within Anambra, adding, “From Nnewi, you pass through Umudim, Nnewichi, Uruagu, and Otolo. I know places in the southeast well. I even know the junction near Upper Iweka where the mentally unstable man who used to advise him stayed.”

He questioned how Obi could claim otherwise, saying, “How can he say I have never been to Anambra?”

Bwala also criticized Obi’s political messaging, accusing him of presenting an illusion of hope detached from Nigeria’s practical realities.

Mocking Obi’s style, Bwala described him as a “character-in-chief,” arguing that the former Labour Party flag bearer relies heavily on theatrics.

He stated, “In film, the actor plays a character. Obi is the character-in-chief because everything he does is performance. He portrays a fictional version of reality that does not and will never exist.”

According to Bwala, the disillusionment after the 2023 election stemmed from supporters struggling to reconcile their expectations with the actual outcome.

He said, “After the election and reality set in, they couldn’t handle the collapse of the fantasy they were sold. That’s why many became erratic online.”

Bwala accused some of Obi’s supporters of moving from platform to platform, attacking opponents out of frustration.

He concluded by saying leadership requires sacrifice and stability, noting that President Bola Tinubu and other seasoned politicians have spent years building solid political foundations.
