Nollywood actress and politician Tonto Dikeh has confirmed that she has reconciled with her former husband, Olakunle Churchill, bringing an end to nearly a decade of public disagreements and legal battles.
Gossip News Now recalls that the couple tied the knot in 2015, but their marriage fell apart in under two years, following allegations of infidelity, intense media scrutiny, and prolonged child custody disputes.
In a deeply emotional message shared on her Facebook page, Tonto credited the reconciliation to divine intervention, humility, and persistent prayer, noting that what human effort failed to repair was ultimately restored through faith and obedience to God.
Describing the reunion as a spiritual restoration after years of conflict and separation, the actress said tranquility has replaced chaos, while bitterness and broken communication have given way to peace and renewed respect.
According to her, the revived bond is anchored on forgiveness, humility, and their shared commitment to raising their child, urging others facing similar situations not to abandon hope.
She wrote, “We are living evidence that God’s word never fails. God does not abandon what He begins. When He starts a work, He stays until it is completed. After ten long years of public battles, deep wounds, broken communication, pain, and bitterness, God intervened. What once appeared ugly, impossible, and beyond repair was touched by mercy. Chaos has given way to peace. Anger has been replaced by respect. What human effort could not fix, God healed through salvation, humility, and the heartfelt prayers of a child.
“This restoration did not happen by strength, wisdom, or might, but by the Spirit of God. When God moves, human understanding cannot fully grasp His process. He softens hearts, silences opposition, and rewrites stories that seemed finished. Every plan of darkness has failed. Pride has melted, stubbornness has bowed, and love has found its voice again for the sake of my child.
“I am sincerely thankful to the father of my child, Dr. Kunle, for submitting to God’s word and choosing peace. Obedience to God always produces restoration, no matter how long and painful the journey may be. To anyone standing where I once stood — tired, wounded, misunderstood, and believing nothing good can come from the situation — please hear this: God has not forgotten you. Your story is not over. What He has started, He will surely complete. Keep praying. Keep choosing love. Keep trusting God, even when it hurts.
