Emmanuella, the mother of Carter Efe’s child, has finally addressed the situation after the popular streamer claimed he had been single for more than a year.
According to Gossip News Now , she posted a video on Instagram explaining that she never intended to reveal details about her personal life but felt compelled to respond due to how the issue was presented publicly.
She said she was stunned by his claim that they had been separated for over a year.
Emmanuella clarified that although they were no longer officially a couple, they had remained close until recently and were intimate just days before Carter Efe made the post.
Because of this, she described his public statement as hurtful and confusing, especially since they share a child together.
She also accused him of exerting control over various areas of her life.
According to her, despite studying medical anatomy, he discouraged her from working in a hospital, alleging she would have affairs with doctors.
She added that he also dismissed her ambition to pursue a career in acting, refusing to support her dreams.
The mother of one further alleged that Carter Efe frequently reminded her that he was responsible for her online visibility and threatened to withdraw it whenever they had issues.
She said he called her shortly before making his social media post, warning that he would release damaging information about her to tarnish her reputation.
After his post went public, Emmanuella said she found herself emotionally overwhelmed and confused about why he would make such statements.
She noted that while he was free to announce that their relationship had ended, attacking her personality and integrity online was unnecessary.
She also claimed that contrary to his statements, she still had to directly request money from him for their child’s needs.
Emmanuella explained that the situation pushed her to break her silence and present her side of the story to clear her name.
