Popular skitmaker Carter Efe has raised concerns over his housing situation, revealing that he is on the verge of being evicted from his current apartment.
Gossip News Now reports that the comedian shared an emotional video on Instagram, disclosing that he had earlier been forced out of his former studio and now faces yet another eviction—just a day before his birthday.
In the clip, Carter Efe appealed to Nigerians for assistance, even displaying his bank account details while explaining the difficulties of securing a new home.
He lamented the high cost of accommodation in Lagos, noting that the last apartment he inspected was priced at ₦18.4 million.
“Since I was chased from my former studio, I’ve had nowhere stable to stay. Even this current apartment, they want to drive me out today. Nigerians, I’m begging. I don’t have a place,” he said. “The last house I checked was ₦18.4 million, and I can’t afford it. My birthday is tomorrow, the 29th. Please help me rent a house. 2-1-5-9-6-3-1-1-7-3 UBA. I beg you.”
Meanwhile, in a separate development, singer Skales opened up about his tough childhood in Kaduna, revealing that he once lived in a modest hut with his late mother and endured life with very few comforts.
