Former Chelsea striker Chris Sutton has shared his predictions for an action-packed Premier League weekend, tipping Newcastle United to edge past Chelsea in Saturday’s early kick-off at St James’ Park.
Writing on BBC Sport, Sutton forecasted a 2-1 victory for Newcastle, a result that could increase pressure on both teams as the season reaches its midpoint.
The former England international also expects Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool to share the spoils in North London, while backing Manchester City to overcome West Ham United at the Etihad Stadium.
Sutton predicts Arsenal will secure a narrow away win at Everton, and believes Aston Villa will prove too strong for Manchester United on Sunday evening.
