Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has been cleared to rejoin Lazio’s Serie A squad after completing his recovery and returning to full fitness.

The 24-year-old was removed from the club’s roster in September following an injury sustained during the Derby della Capitale clash against Roma. His absence opened a space for Elseid Hysaj, who stepped in while the Nigerian recovered.

According to Gossip News Now, Lazio delayed confirming Dele-Bashiru’s reinstatement due to the likelihood that he could be unavailable during the Africa Cup of Nations in December. There have also been quiet conversations within the club about a possible January exit, though no final decision has been made.

The former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder has made just four league appearances this season but is expected to be part of the squad when Lazio travel to face AC Milan at the San Siro on Saturday.

Meanwhile, fellow Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen has earned widespread admiration after donating ₦5 million (approximately £4,500) to support the breast cancer treatment of popular online food vendor and 𝕏 personality, Aunty Esther.

Osimhen, currently at Galatasaray, intervened after a heartbreaking video circulated online showing Esther Omolola Mensah in severe pain while appealing for financial help from her hospital bed. The clip, which revealed the extent of the cancer damage to her chest, drew significant sympathy across social media.

His ₦5 million donation, made on Wednesday, is the largest individual contribution so far. In an emotional message of gratitude, she wrote:
Thank you, Uncle Victor Osimhen. God bless u abundantly.

Osimhen himself is recovering from an injury that kept him out of Galatasaray’s 1-0 Champions League defeat to Union Saint-Gilloise on Tuesday. He is expected to be fit in time for the club’s derby clash against Fenerbahçe on December 1.
