Hellen Ati, who is widely rumoured to share a child with businessman Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has issued an appeal to music star Davido amid the renewed controversy surrounding the paternity claims made by Anu Adeleke.
The issue resurfaced after Anu went public on Instagram, pleading for a DNA test to ascertain her biological identity. She revealed that the constant rumours linking her to Davido had made life difficult, especially in school where she claimed she was being mocked by classmates over the speculation.
Davido, however, dismissed the claims outright. According to him, multiple DNA tests have already been conducted in different hospitals selected by both families, and every single one confirmed that he is not Anu’s father. He insisted the matter had been settled long ago and accused Anu’s mother of repeatedly bringing up a closed issue.
Reacting to the social media exchange, Hellen left a comment on a blog post, urging Davido to consider offering support to the young girl — even if it means adopting her. She noted that Davido has a known reputation for caring deeply about children.
While making her appeal, Hellen also used the opportunity to criticize Chief Priest, suggesting he lacks the same compassion.
Her comment read:
“Please just help her, you can still adopt her. It doesn’t mean anything. I know you love children a lot, not like Pascal Okechukwu. Big belle for no reason.”
