Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has publicly accused four well-known Nigerian pastors of hypocrisy and insincerity, claiming their financial support toward her came with questionable intentions.
The controversy follows her ongoing legal dispute and allegations involving Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of the Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministry.
Taking to her Instagram page, the actress expressed deep frustration, stating that although the pastors — whom she identified as Suleman, Chris, Jeremiah, and Jerry — had at different times given her money, their gestures were often tied to hidden motives, insults, or personal pleas.
Ogala explained that during her brother’s critical illness, she reached out repeatedly to some of them for assistance after exhausting her personal funds in efforts to save his life. According to her, her appeals were ignored at the time. However, she claimed that once her brother passed away, financial help suddenly began to come in.
She questioned the timing of the support, suggesting it was not driven by compassion. The actress maintained that the same individuals who failed to respond when her brother was alive later sent money after his death.
In her emotional post, Doris revealed that her brother’s passing has taken a serious toll on her mental health. She admitted she has not been the same since the loss and described feeling broken and deeply hurt, particularly by what she called humiliating treatment from one of the pastors.
The actress further stated that she is currently burdened with legal expenses, police matters, and emotional distress, yet receives no meaningful support from the clerics she mentioned. She insisted that her decision to speak out is not motivated by fear of criticism, adding that public insults would not silence her.
Ogala also expressed regret for seeking help from one of the pastors during what she described as one of the most difficult periods of her life. She said she intends to reveal more details gradually so she can finally feel free.
Despite backlash she anticipates, the actress maintained that she believes she is acting according to God’s will. She concluded by emphasizing that the pain from her brother’s death has permanently changed her and that the experiences she had with the pastors caused significant emotional damage.
