Chelsea icon and Belgian football superstar Eden Hazard has been officially inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame, becoming the 26th player to receive the prestigious honour on October 29, 2025.

Renowned for his electrifying dribbles, creativity, and ability to change games single-handedly, Hazard now joins an elite group of football greats who have made a lasting impact on the league since its inception in 1992. He enters the Hall of Fame alongside fellow 2025 inductee Gary Neville.

Hazard enjoyed a glittering seven-year spell at Stamford Bridge, during which he won two Premier League titles, claimed the 2014/15 Premier League Player of the Season award, and earned Chelsea’s Player of the Season honour four times.

Reacting to the recognition, Hazard expressed gratitude and pride:

“I grew up playing football for fun with my brothers, but my dream was always to play at the highest level. Being inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame means a lot. I’m proud to join this group of players — I think we could make a great squad! I always wanted to entertain the fans, and being recognised like this is special for me and my family.”

Former Chelsea manager José Mourinho, who guided the club to the 2014/15 title, praised Hazard in an emotional tribute:

“Congratulations, Eden. Everyone knows you belong there. You are one of the most amazing players I’ve ever worked with. Thank you for helping me win my last Premier League title.”

Hazard joined Chelsea from Lille in 2012 and immediately lit up the league. Across 245 Premier League appearances, he recorded 85 goals and 54 assists, earning a reputation as one of the most exciting and gifted players of his generation.
