Four teams have earned promotion to the Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) Championship following an intense NWFL Nationwide qualifying series held in Abuja from October 10 to 17, 2025.

The newly promoted sides — Rangers Women FC, C2E Sports Academy, Rosaria Victrix, and Solo Wonders — delivered outstanding performances throughout the tournament to secure their places in Nigeria’s second-tier women’s football league.

Rangers Women FC confirmed their promotion with a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Plateau Queens in their final qualifying game on Friday, October 17. The narrow win capped off a strong campaign for the Enugu-based team.

C2E Sports Academy also booked their ticket to the Championship the same day after a 2–0 triumph over Osklean, showcasing tactical discipline and consistent form throughout the qualifiers — a landmark achievement for the academy side.

Meanwhile, Solo Wonders produced one of the most dominant performances of the tournament, thrashing Sporting Angels 8–0 in their final match to seal promotion in emphatic fashion.

Rosaria Victrix completed the list of promoted teams after a goalless draw against Alexander Queens, which was enough to see them top their group on points.

With these results, Rangers Women FC, Solo Wonders, and Rosaria Victrix will make their first-ever appearances in the NWFL Championship next season. They will join C2E Sports Academy in competing against some of Nigeria’s best women’s football clubs as they aim to progress to the NWFL Premiership in the future.
