New developments have surfaced in the ongoing marital controversy between Senator Ned Nwoko and his wife, actress Regina Daniels, following the release of a document shared by Nwoko on his 𝕏 (formerly Twitter) handle on Wednesday night.
The document, reportedly a written statement by a live-in nurse named Dora, outlines incidents she claims occurred while working in the Nwoko household from July 2023.
In the statement dated January 9, 2026, Dora alleged that she began noticing unusual behaviour from Regina Daniels around September 2025. According to her, the actress requested assistance in acquiring prescription-only medications and, on some occasions, asked about potentially lethal doses of substances, including morphine and pethidine.
Dora further claimed that she once entered Regina’s room to find opioids, anaesthetic substances, and cannabis spread across a table. She alleged that Regina poured a ketamine injection onto a plate and instructed her to heat it in a microwave to form crystals. Dora said she refused to comply and reported the matter to her employer.
The statement also addressed claims of domestic violence. Dora insisted that she never witnessed Senator Nwoko physically assault his wife during her employment. “My boss Sen. Ned Nwoko neither drinks nor smokes and I haven’t heard of him physically abusing my Madam in any way,” the document read. She said verbal disagreements occurred, mostly concerning Regina’s alleged drinking and smoking habits.
Dora maintained that she refused to handle or administer any substances, citing professional ethics and safety concerns as her guiding principles.
The statement also mentioned a friend of Regina, identified as Ann Cassie, who was reportedly involved in procuring and mixing substances. Ann Cassie was recently arrested and charged with multiple offences, including allegations related to an illegal abortion—an issue Regina had previously referenced on social media—as well as cyberbullying linked to online posts. Ann Cassie was granted bail, with court proceedings ongoing.
