“Nollywood actress Georgina Onuoha has criticized Senator Ned Nwoko over his recent claim that his estranged wife, Regina Daniels, is using drugs.”
Gossip News Now reports that Senator Ned Nwoko’s media team has dismissed allegations of domestic abuse, describing them as attempts to divert attention from ongoing concerns about his estranged wife’s health and behavior.
They noted that independent toxicology reports confirmed the presence and misuse of several substances, supporting concerns that had been privately raised months before the issue became public.
The team emphasized that Senator Nwoko had long encouraged professional support, including therapy and structured rehabilitation, well before the matter reached the public eye.
According to them, a message released in October reflected frustration and a continued push for professional help, rather than any act of violence.
They also clarified that financial restrictions imposed by the senator were intended to curb harmful behavior, not to punish.
Reacting to these statements, Georgina Onuoha took to Instagram with a detailed post criticizing Ned Nwoko’s ongoing online behavior and what she called a witch-hunt campaign against Regina Daniels.
She argued that Nwoko’s actions display the classic traits of a malignant narcissist and insisted that it is he who urgently needs psychological rehabilitation, not Regina.
Onuoha further stated that the senator’s behavior is unbecoming of a responsible and honorable man. She warned that if anything were to happen to Regina, accountability must rest where it rightfully belongs.
She wrote:
“What Nigerians are witnessing with Senator Ned Nwoko is deeply troubling. With fairness and a strong sense of responsibility, it is clear that he urgently needs psychological help, not Regina. His conduct is unworthy of a responsible and honorable man.
“His constant online attacks and witch-hunt against his estranged wife — a young woman he reportedly began a relationship with at 17 — exemplify classic malignant narcissism: a person who seeks total control over another’s life, choices, and even sense of self.
“A man approaching 70 publicly targeting a 24-year-old woman, who entered the relationship as a teenager, should concern every Nigerian. She has matured and chosen to leave a path that no longer serves her. In any free society, leaving a toxic relationship is a fundamental right.
“Instead of respecting her choice, he continues to destroy her character, label her a ‘drug addict,’ and use their children to coerce her return. This is not concern — this is control.
“She voluntarily submitted to independent drug testing abroad and was cleared. A true addict cannot function as she does in daily life. Poor judgment does not equal addiction. Words matter — false labels ruin lives.
“What is happening follows a familiar and dangerous pattern: when a woman says ‘I am done,’ intimidation, defamation, manipulation, and relentless pressure often follow. If anything happens to her, accountability must fall where it belongs.
“Senator Ned, leave her alone. She has said enough. Your smear campaign against her will not succeed. Regina may not craft long statements like you, but many just and decent Nigerians will speak up for her.
“You are being petty. It is obvious that you are the one in need of psychological rehabilitation. You need help, Chinedu.”
