Sophia Momodu, the mother of Davido’s first child, has publicly addressed fans who continue to refer to her as the wife of the award-winning singer, stating clearly that she does not hold that title and wants the narrative to stop.

Sophia made this known during an Instagram Live session where she shared an uncomfortable encounter with a male content creator who mistakenly introduced her as “OBO’s wife” after spotting her in public.

According to her, the comment caught her off guard, as she stressed that she is not married to Davido and finds such labels disrespectful, especially to people’s marriages and personal boundaries.

She emphasized that she has moved on from the relationship and urged fans and the public to do the same, adding that everyone involved is currently at peace and deserves to live without unnecessary reminders of the past.

Sophia further hinted that she is now in a happy relationship, jokingly noting that she is being treated well and enjoying her current chapter.
