Sammie West, brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has accused the senator and her husband, Ned Nwoko, of physically assaulting his sister and has threatened retaliation.
Gossip News Now reports that a viral video circulating online showed Regina appearing distraught as she complained about her marriage. Surrounded by people who tried to comfort her, she was heard saying, “In Ned’s house I am nothing, but in my house I am a queen.”
The footage also captured a heated altercation in which Sammie West fought with a man the family claimed had been sent by the senator to intimidate Regina.
In a follow-up post on his Instagram Stories, Sammie alleged that Ned Nwoko fled the scene after assaulting Regina — allegedly smashing her head against a wall — and sending men away. Sammie wrote that had he encountered the senator that day, he would have “broken his jaw.”
He posted:
“Makachi! It pains me that some of you finally want to laugh at my sister. Let me repeat: anywhere a man beats a woman — whether she’s my sister or not — I will fight with my blood! Senator Ned Nwoko, you were lucky that after you beat my sister and smashed her head on the wall, you ran away and sent thugs. I swear I will burst all your jaws!”
The allegations and Sammie’s threats have intensified public attention on the family’s dispute, and the story continues to generate strong reactions online.
