‘I Want Her Alive, Not Just For Me, But For Our Children’ – Ned Nwoko Speaks on Regina Daniels’ Rehabilitation

Spread the love

Senator Ned Nwoko has publicly defended his call for Regina Daniels to undergo rehabilitation, saying his position is driven by concern for her well-being and the welfare of their two children. In his remarks, he stressed that his priority is to see her remain healthy and stable enough to care for the family.

Speaking in Abuja, the senator said he had become increasingly alarmed by what he described as troubling medical findings and a noticeable change in Regina’s recent behavior. He argued that the situation had gone beyond private concern and now required urgent professional attention. Rather than frame the issue as a personal dispute alone, he said the matter should be viewed through the lens of health and parental responsibility.

Nwoko claimed he had personally rushed Regina to Nizamiye Hospital on three separate occasions after alleged overdose incidents. He said he had been dealing with the situation for several months and insisted that his concerns were not sudden or politically motivated. According to Gossip News Now, he maintained that the repeated medical emergencies were the reason he believes structured rehabilitation is necessary.

He also pointed to toxicology reports which, according to him, support his claims about substance abuse. In his view, anyone trying to block or discourage treatment is acting against Regina’s best interests and, by extension, against the interests of the children. He said the focus should be on recovery rather than denial, adding that he would even fund an independent toxicology review if her family wished to challenge his assertions.

The senator did not stop there. He further alleged that some of Regina’s siblings and people around them had contributed to the problem by enabling harmful habits. He suggested that each attempt at progress was being undermined by the same circle of influence, which he believes kept drawing her back into destructive behavior.

Nwoko also pushed back against accusations coming from Regina’s family. He dismissed their denials as distractions and specifically rejected a claim made by Regina’s mother concerning one of his sons, describing that accusation as deeply unfair. According to him, there was no official medical conclusion linking the death in question to drug use, and he condemned the statement as an unnecessary personal attack.

The dispute between the couple escalated after Regina accused him of assault and made it clear that she no longer wanted the marriage to continue. Nwoko has denied those allegations and instead argued that her recent actions and statements should be understood within the context of the substance abuse concerns he has raised. His latest comments suggest he is trying to frame the controversy less as a marital quarrel and more as a medical crisis requiring intervention.

Commentary and Analysis

This latest twist in the feud between Ned Nwoko and Regina Daniels deepens what is already a highly sensitive and public conflict. On one side, Nwoko is presenting himself as a concerned husband and father pushing for treatment; on the other, Regina has portrayed him as controlling and abusive. That sharp contrast means the public is now being asked to choose between two very different narratives, both carrying serious implications.

What makes the matter even more complicated is the presence of children, medical claims, and family accusations all at once. Once issues like addiction, mental health, and parenting enter a public dispute, the argument often moves beyond celebrity gossip into a more serious conversation about credibility, care, and responsibility. Whether the truth eventually emerges through legal or medical channels, the case has already become a cautionary example of how private family crises can spiral into public battles with lasting reputational consequences.
