Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has revealed his plans to return to school to deepen his understanding of the music business.

Gossip News Now reports that the artist, best known for his hit track Zazu, explained that although he holds an OND from Kwara State Polytechnic, he believes further education will help him manage his career more independently.

Portable stated that this step will enable him to handle his record label, Zeh Nation, and oversee his music platforms without depending entirely on others.

In a video shared on his Instagram page, he said:

“Even though I already have an OND from Kwara State Polytechnic, I still want to further my education so I can understand my music royalties and business deals better, especially for my record label, Zeh Nation.”

In other news, Portable also offered advice to Nollywood actress Regina Daniels following her recent social media post.

Gossip News Now notes that Regina’s post comes amid ongoing tension in her marriage to Nigerian billionaire and lawmaker, Senator Ned Nwoko.

Reacting to the post, Portable commented in Regina’s section, urging her to remain loyal to her husband and ignore advice encouraging her to leave her home. He wrote:

“God bless your home forever. Please stay loyal. Loyalty is powerful. A wife who is loyal enjoys life more. No man outside can make you as happy as the one who values you at home. Don’t listen to anyone telling you to leave; they cannot provide what your husband already gives you. Stay wise and committed.”
