Nigerian singer Michael Adebayo Olayinka, professionally known as Ruger, has dismissed rumors of a falling-out with fellow artiste David Adeleke, popularly called Davido.

Speculation about a supposed feud intensified after Ruger publicly expressed admiration for Wizkid and his fanbase, leading some of Davido’s fans to claim that Ruger was taking sides in the ongoing rivalry between the two music stars.

One fan even suggested via 𝕏 that Ruger’s career would stall unless he issued a public apology to the DMW boss.

“When you’re ready to apologize and beg Davido publicly, your song will hit No. 1,” the fan wrote.

Responding to this, Ruger asked, “And did Davido tell you I did anything wrong to him?”

He later shared a post reaffirming his respect and love for Davido, emphasizing that there is no tension between them.

“I love Davido, and I know he loves me too. People on his team still repost my stuff. I will never believe this narrative that he doesn’t fck with me unless he says it to my face or publicly. But if he says it, everywhere will know first,”* Ruger wrote.
