Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo-Mkambala has hit back at online trolls who mocked her for wearing the same designer shoes from her wedding day to a recent public event.

The 24-year-old daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo took to her Snapchat page to address the criticism, saying she refuses to let social media pressure dictate her lifestyle.

Priscilla expressed concern about how young women feel compelled to live beyond their means just to maintain an image online.

According to Gossip News Now, she stated that she has no problem repeating her luxury footwear and that her happiness and peace of mind come first.

She wrote:

“My generation’s girls are living in delusion, thinking I should only wear Jimmy Choo once because my fanbase is bigger now. This is why so many girls feel pressured by social media to fit an unrealistic standard, saying, ‘I need to be a big girl,’ but they don’t have the financial means to back it up.

My life will go however I want it to go. As long as my family, friends, and genuine fans are happy, every other person’s opinion is just noise.”

Priscilla, who married Tanzanian singer Juma Jux earlier this year in a private ceremony, emphasized that confidence and authenticity matter more than social approval.
