Nollywood filmmaker Lizzy Gold has revealed that she has no immediate plans to get married and urged people to stop pressuring her about her relationship life.
Gossip News Now reports that the 38-year-old, a mother of two, shared her thoughts in a social media video while preparing for a colleague’s wedding.
Lizzy acknowledged that questions about her single status are expected but emphasized that marriage is not her current priority. She explained that her focus is on raising her children, describing herself as “married to my kids.”
She added that she would only consider marrying a man who has his life in order, stressing that she is unwilling to rush into a relationship with someone who does not meet her standards.
Lizzy further stated that staying single is not wrong if the right partner does not come along.
“It is not going to be my turn anytime soon. I am not getting married anytime soon; I am not even thinking about it. I am waiting on God. If peradventure there is no man, it is not a sin to remain single,” she said.
In previous interviews, Lizzy has highlighted how much she values her personal space and prefers to take her time before committing to marriage. She even shared that she would consider a long-distance marriage, as she is not comfortable living with a spouse every day.
