Rabiu Kwankwaso, former presidential candidate and national leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), has expressed his support for the party’s newly elected national leadership.
In a statement posted on his 𝕏 account on Sunday, Kwankwaso acknowledged the election of Dr. Ahmed Ajuji as National Chairman and Mr. Dipo Olayoku as National Secretary, following the NNPP National Convention held in Abuja on Saturday, which was monitored by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The former Kano State Governor also congratulated other national officers who were returned unopposed during the convention, urging them to uphold discipline and remain committed to the party’s ideals.
“I was delighted to attend the NNPP National Convention in Abuja alongside other party leaders. At the convention, monitored by INEC, Dr. Ahmed Ajuji was elected National Chairman, Mr. Dipo Olayoku as National Secretary, and other national officers were returned unopposed. I heartily congratulate the newly elected executives and urge the leadership and members to remain disciplined and loyal to the vision of the NNPP,” Kwankwaso wrote.
