Lizzy Anjorin Speaks On Being Arrested After Petition By Iyabo Ojo

Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin has reacted to widespread reports alleging that she was arrested over defamation claims.

According to Gossip News Now , the speculation started after online sources suggested that actresses Toyin Abraham, Iyabo Ojo, and Dayo Amusa had submitted a petition against her, supposedly resulting in her arrest.

Influencer Esabod had claimed that Lizzy was being held at the Alagbon Police Station in Lagos and that her bail conditions would soon be reviewed.

Responding to the circulating reports, Lizzy addressed the public via Instagram, cautioning people not to accept such claims without verifying them.

Esabod wrote: “Lizzy Anjorin has been arrested … has been remanded in Alagbon police station in Lagos. Lizzy bail condition will be reviewed from Monday for defamation of character.”

In her response, Lizzy posted: “Believe Esabod and Iyabo Ojo at your own risk.”

In a separate development, Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has also reportedly been arrested following a complaint filed by his baby mama, Ashabi Simple.

Gossip News Now reports that the arrest occurred after weeks of public conflicts between the pair, during which they exchanged accusations across social media.

A video circulating online captured the moment police tried to detain the singer.

In the footage, Portable can be seen resisting arrest, shouting and pulling away, while bystanders attempted to calm the situation.
