Premier League heavyweights Manchester United have confirmed the appointment of Collette Roche as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the club’s new stadium development, a newly established position designed to drive the ambitious Old Trafford regeneration project.
The announcement was made by the club on Tuesday, representing a major milestone in Manchester United’s long-term infrastructure upgrade and redevelopment strategy.
According to a statement from the club, Roche will head Manchester United’s involvement in the Old Trafford Regeneration planning process, as work intensifies on the large-scale redevelopment scheme.
Her appointment comes at a pivotal moment, following the official launch last Friday of the Old Trafford Regeneration Mayoral Development Corporation — an independent body created to oversee the comprehensive renewal of the historic stadium and its surrounding district.
In her new capacity, Roche will report directly to Manchester United’s Chief Executive Officer, Omar Berrada, and will be responsible for steering the club’s engagement throughout the regeneration programme.
The club noted that the decision reflects its determination to provide strong leadership and effective coordination as discussions progress with government bodies, local councils, and key project partners.
Reacting to the announcement, Roche expressed pride and enthusiasm about her new responsibilities.
“I am extremely honoured to have been entrusted with leading the new stadium development and to continue working closely with the Mayoral Development Corporation, alongside our wide range of stakeholders,” she said via the club’s official website.
The development follows a morale-boosting on-field success for the Red Devils, who claimed a dramatic 3–2 Premier League victory over Arsenal on Sunday, lifting spirits among supporters during a period of significant off-pitch transformation and strategic planning.
