Jude Ezenwafor, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the upcoming November 8, 2025 Anambra governorship election, is set to challenge the incumbent governor, Charles Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Gossip News Now reports that Ezenwafor’s candidacy was officially confirmed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on May 13, 2025, with Okeke Chukwudi as his running mate. He will also face candidates from the All Progressives Congress (APC), Labour Party (LP), African Democratic Congress (ADC), and other political parties.
The Abuja-based real estate developer emerged as the sole aspirant in the PDP primary held on April 8, 2025, at the Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre, Awka, where he received unanimous endorsement from 853 delegates across the 21 local government areas of Anambra State.
He purchased the party’s ₦40 million nomination form and was the only candidate cleared to participate in the primary election.
