Popular Nigerian TikToker Amadou Elizabeth, known online as Jarvis, has shared an emotional update about her mother’s declining health and her concerns over how social media users might react if the situation becomes public.

Gossip News Now reports that Jarvis spoke about her worries in a heartfelt video posted on Instagram on Wednesday.

She expressed fear that someone could secretly record her ailing mother and use the footage to criticize her online.

“The internet can be harsh,” she said, adding that her mother’s condition might be exploited as a tool for judgment and ridicule.

Jarvis also revealed that she anticipates questions about her care for her mother, especially considering her online success. She explained that many might assume that money can solve everything, but her mother’s illness is beyond the reach of finances.

She shared that she has now placed the matter in God’s hands.

Speaking fondly about her mother, Jarvis praised her for raising the family alone without support from their father. She said her mother protected and provided for them to the best of her ability, despite the absence of their Senegalese father.

Jarvis further disclosed that she has been attempting to reconnect with her estranged father, whom she last saw during her early childhood. She recalled that he used to call her Aminata, but all communication eventually stopped.

She revealed that she has since traveled to Senegal and continues her efforts to locate him.
