Nollywood actress Blessing Nze has shared how negative comments on social media unexpectedly became a turning point that helped her build confidence, particularly regarding her smile.
Speaking during a conversation with media personality Ifedayo Agoro, the actress reflected on earlier experiences where she was ridiculed online, especially over her teeth and frequent laughter.
According to her, the criticism surfaced around the time she released photos from her first wedding anniversary, when some social media users mocked her appearance and described her dentition in unflattering terms.
Rather than allowing the comments to discourage her, Blessing explained that the reactions motivated her to make improvements, adding that she now feels more comfortable and confident about her smile.
She noted that the trolling ultimately contributed to the changes people now admire, saying the negative feedback pushed her to work on what critics had pointed out.
Blessing, who is married to fellow Nollywood actor Stan Nze, also addressed assumptions about their professional relationship, clarifying that working together does not mean special financial treatment.
She explained that her husband is compensated like any other professional whenever they collaborate on projects, stressing that their partnership is grounded in fairness and professionalism.
The actress added that their marriage has always been based on unity and mutual support, describing their approach as facing challenges together while maintaining clear boundaries in their work.
