Nollywood filmmaker Jade Osiberu has announced the birth of her first child, sharing the joyous news on Instagram. The baby, named Moraraoluwa Jaiyeoba, was welcomed on August 8, 2025, coinciding with a milestone year as Osiberu turned 40.
Reflecting on the experience, Osiberu described motherhood as life-changing and humbling. She expressed gratitude to God for His mercy, care, and guidance throughout the journey to becoming a mother.
In her post, she wrote:
“My life changed forever. God said in your 40th year, I will complete you. God really does make all things beautiful in His time.
I have been on many journeys in my life, but the journey to becoming a mother has been the most humbling and life-defining. God has shown me so much mercy and favour. To say I feel seen and loved by God would be an understatement. I feel like His favorite child.
May the Lord bless you, keep you, make you wise, and show you which way to go. May He grant you favour, give you peace, and watch over you. May the Lord be happy with you and may you rest in His love. He will sing and be joyful about you.”
Jade Osiberu is a leading creative force in Nollywood and the founder of Greoh Studios. She has directed and produced several acclaimed films, including Isoken, Brotherhood, Gangs of Lagos (her first feature as a director), and the Sugar Rush movies, along with numerous other film and TV projects.
