Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has vowed to fight for the custody of her two sons, accusing her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko, of deliberately using their children for public attention.
In a series of posts shared on Instagram, the actress alleged that Nwoko has filed for full custody of the children, even though they are currently in his care. She expressed distress over what she described as the repeated public exposure of her sons, claiming it was a calculated move to attract media engagement.
Regina further alleged that her husband dismissed all her nannies and coerced them into making false claims that she is violent and struggles with alcohol abuse.
“People may think I am happy, but no mother can be at peace while separated from her children,” she wrote. “I refused to let that pain define or imprison me, which is why it took time for me to walk away.”
She argued that the public display of their children at this time was irresponsible, especially for someone with legislative experience, adding that such actions inevitably invite media scrutiny. According to her, the behaviour raises questions about whether the motive is parental duty or the pursuit of attention.
“I stayed silent to avoid adding to the noise online, but this man keeps behaving like a child. At this point, it’s safe to describe this one-term senator as a content creator,” she stated.
The actress disclosed that she last spoke with her children in mid-November, claiming that Nwoko severed her access to them after dismissing her domestic staff and filing for full custody.
“I am young, but I am a mother who loves being a mum and misses her children deeply,” Regina added. “If their father thinks I won’t fight for my children, he is mistaken. I will.”
