Nollywood actress Osas Ighodaro has opened up about a painful chapter in her past, recounting how a former relationship ended in heartbreak.
According to reports, the actress shared her experience during an interview on the Lone Wolf podcast with Nicole Asinugo.
She explained that she had decided to surprise her partner by visiting him unannounced. Upon arriving at his house, she knocked and waited for several minutes before he finally opened the door.
Instead of greeting her warmly, he immediately questioned why she had come without prior notice, a response that left her feeling uneasy.
Osas revealed that when she tried to enter his room, she found the door locked. Initially, he claimed someone else was inside.
When she pressed further, he eventually admitted it was a woman, not a man.
He then asked her to sit down, saying they needed to discuss something important, but the situation quickly became tense.
According to Osas, he subsequently called security personnel to remove her from the house. Although she initially left, she later returned to confront him, bewildered by how he could treat her that way after they had been in a relationship for three to four years.
The encounter became even more painful when he told her he had contacted the police, warning that he didn’t want her to get into trouble for confronting a pregnant woman.
Osas described the experience as a confirmation of her fears and the turning point that ended their relationship, saying:
“I knocked on the door and waited for about five minutes before he opened. Instead of being happy to see me, the first thing he asked was, ‘Why didn’t you say you were coming?’
I tried to enter the room and saw that the door was locked. I asked him why, and he said he had a friend inside.
He later said, ‘It’s not a guy, it’s a girl,’ and then told me to sit down because we needed to talk.
He called the security men and asked them to escort me out of the house.
I went back to ask him how he could do that to me after we had been together for three to four years.
He told me he had already called the police because he didn’t want me to go to jail for fighting a pregnant woman.”
